To connect a Google MyBusiness location, you need to:

  1. Make sure that you are the Google MyBusiness location Owner or Manager; and

  2. Make sure that your Google MyBusiness location is verified.

    ⚠️ If you are not the owner and it is not verified, you cannot connect it with AreTheyHappy. If you fulfill the above two requirements, we can move on.

  3. Assuming that you're an Owner or Manager of the Google MyBusiness location, go back to AreTheyHappy > Settings > Locations and Groups > Go to GMB and click the "Connect with Google" button.

  4. A pop-up window will open. Select your Google account and authorize the app.

  5. Select the Group that your location belongs to. 

  6. Select your Google MyBusiness Page from the dropdown.

  7. Click Confirm.

  8. Don't forget to click "Sync Details" synchronize your Google MyBusiness page's location details to your AreTheyHappy location.

  9. Click Confirm a last time, and you are done!



Troubleshooting

1. Check that you are the Google MyBusiness location Owner or Manager;
2. Check that your Google MyBusiness location is verified.

3. Other Checks:

✔️ Refresh your page

✔️ Do a hard refresh of your page (Shift + CTRL + R)
✔️ Log-out and in of AreTheyHappy, and try again.
✔️ Do a hard disconnect. (Scroll about halfway down the article.)
