To connect your Instagram account, please follow these steps:
Go to settings > Locations and Groups
Connect via your Facebook account
Authorize the app. Give us FULL permissions.
Select the relevant Instagram Business Page from the dropdown list.
Click the "Confirm" button.
⚠️ Note: Check two things prior to connecting:
Make sure that your Instagram account is a Business Profile. We cannot connect Personal profiles.
Make sure that the account you want to connect is logged into Instagram.*
To complete your account setup, click here to see how you can connect other channels to your AreTheyHappy locations, i.e. Facebook, GMB, TripAdvisor etc.

To enhance your Instagram connection, enter your password.
Click the "Ok" button.

b. What is the difference between the Regular IG account and an Enhanced IG account on AreTheyHappy?
The Regular connection is done via the Facebook Graph API and is the standard way of connecting accounts to AreTheyHappy, i.e. the regular connection allows you to monitor Instagram Own Posts, Geotagged Posts, Tagged Posts, and Mentions. You may not be able to respond to some message types.
The Enhanced connection on IG allows you to both monitor AND respond to Instagram Own Posts, Direct Messages (DMs or Private Messages), Geotagged Posts, Tagged Posts, and Mentions. - Now, N/A.
