Feeling a bit overwhelmed with all those Team Tasks messages? Our Team Task Email Notifications are here to help :)

The email notifications contain the following information:

  • the Action performed that triggered the notification

  • Task ID and Request Type

  • Comment from the creator (if any)

  • Task Status - if the status was changed, the old status is displayed with a strikethrough

  • Assignee (name and avatar)

  • Creator/Assignor (name and avatar)

  • Due Date (day of the week, and date)

You will receive an email from AreTheyHappy if you are:

  • Assignee of a newly created task

  • Assignee/Creator of a task that had its Status, or Due Date updated

  • Old Assignee/New Assignee/Creator of a task that has been re-assigned to a different person in the company

Note: the person that made the change will not receive an email notification

We enabled them for all active users and tasks. There is currently no settings page to disable email notifications. Play with it a few weeks and let us know your thoughts. We’re open to your feedback!
