In AreTheyHappy’s, you can publish three (3) types of posts: Updates, Events, and Offers.

These post types have different uses and are not available to all integrations. In this article, we will discuss each one.

The Update post type is the most common from the group.

These are the regular posts that you see on your social media account: Wall Posts (Facebook), Instagram Post, Tweet (Twitter), or an Update (Google MyBusiness.

Note: this post type is available for all integrations (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google MyBusiness)

Each platform has its own limitations to what you can post out, varying from the number of characters for the caption, to the types of images that you can upload.

The Post Preview section also shows how much of your caption is shown at all times on the social media platform as an organic post.

The part of the post caption that has a lighter gray font color indicates that they will only be shown once the viewer clicks the “Show more” link

The same effect is applied to images that you select beyond the maximum number of media files allowed for that integration.

Images or videos that will not be part of the post will have higher transparency than the others. From the composer, you can drag and drop each image to change the order.

This post type is for publishing upcoming Events that will be hosted by your business location.

Note: the Events post type is only available for Google MyBusiness

Creating an Event for Google MyBusiness has the following limitations:

This post type can help you bring back current customers and attract new ones to your business.

Create coupons and discounts directly from your business Page to let people know about special offers and deals.
