The Public Alias is the naming convention that your customers will see on all “public-facing” interfaces such as Surveys, Quick Replies and Published Posts.

When you create a new group or location, the Public Alias field will be blank. In the absence of a Public Alias, we will use the current company, group or location names.

To configure a Public Alias, simply:

(i) go to Locations & Groups

(ii)select your group/location

(iii)click on the edit icon (pencil), then

(iv) type in your desired Public Alias

Pro Tip: If you use internal naming for your reporting purposes, make sure that you set a public alias so that your customers have a ‘humanized’ interface and know which locations they are interacting with.
