Q: "I generated a report last month and got one result. But, when I generated a report for the same period this month, I got a different score."

A: One of the most important things to remember is that your data on AreTheyHappy is live.

So, a negative review for that period in the past could be deleted by a customer; or the customer can choose to update their score - and all of these actions would change your score.

This is why for the standard reports (pdf) we make it a point to add the date a report was generated (at the bottom of the page) so that you always have a reference. Excel reports also have a date reference in the title so you know when the report was created.

These reports are a snapshot in time. And, if you generate the same report at a future point in time, there may be some differences because of adjustments made by your customers. But, at the actual point that the data for your report was calculated, that would have been the correct picture.
